window tint: how dark is too dark?

i work at a shop called pro window tint in grand junction and per crs you can put a 35% film on clear factory glass and stay legal. that said you can also put what ever you want on everything but the front doors and be legal as well. the factory tint on most trucks vans and suvs come to about 15% visable light transmitted. limo(5%) and mirror tint will get you a ticket in co. utah will stop you for anything darker than 50% as an fyi. most people do 15% and never have any issues. hope that helps clarify some of the legal aspect of it
