a day late and a dollar short on the reply, but here you go.
this is why mine is, and yes its me:
i had the stock AMC era tire carrier before this (note the holes on the quarter pannel from this). had it been on there still it would have sent the carrier and the tire through the hatch and glass. no good. now its much better
