What ya gotta get done before WF?

Parasitic draw test. (Find what's killing the battery)
New battery
Mount new bumper
Fix CB
Install winch
Brakes (figure out why I have no brakes)
Replace Control arm bushings
Replace fluids
I'm sure there is more......

Decide if I will bring the Jeep or not. If so:

Swap CVs for ujoint shafts.
Eyeball the alignment.
Check front end popping.
Check fluids.
Figure out idle problem.
Figure out if it's roadworthy enough to drive to Attica and back.

If not:

Put gas in the Avalanche.

Yeah... all this still, plus install t'case skid. Probably not going to get done, wheel it as is.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I can get it done. 2nd year missing winterfest would be pathetic.

Does anyone know if mission impossible is happening/what day it fall on? I think I may attempt with my 33's if you guys will let me.

My local club usually leads it. Haven't heard anything on here or at our meetings about Mission impossible. The two guys that usually lead it have had a bad year so I doubt they would be up for it.

just made myself a list today

-finish rock rails
-trim fenders
-trim bumper
-replace both unit bearings
-take out trail spare axle shafts and install new shafts/ujoints
-paint bottom half of jeep
-probably extend bumpstops
-find a spare tire

Decide if I will bring the Jeep or not. If so:

Swap CVs for ujoint shafts. Going to run them until they break.
Eyeball the alignment. It's close.
Check front end popping. Trackbar. It'll survive.
Check fluids. Good.
Figure out idle problem. Meh. It idles.
Figure out if it's roadworthy enough to drive to Attica and back. Still TBD, but I'm going to give it a shot.

Got a chance to work on the Jeep tonight. All the above plus put the CB back in and installed the t'case skid. It's not perfect, but it'll do.

Making room for those 35's? I can't wait to see it in person. I want 35's so bad.
