Each day :
2 hours issueing weapons
<30 Min maintaining weapons
7.5 hours Trolling Naxja

I work at Sams Club. Tire and Battery.

Just deal with stupid people and then when its dead, get on NAXJA with my phone, throw wheel weights around, stack tires dangerously high, look at tires I can order (did you know that 42x14.50x20 BFG MT KM2s are about $725.44 per tire?), mess around with some of the BFG AT KOs we have around, look for other jobs, bring my Jeep into the garage and blast some Daft Punk, do random stuff to my Jeep, or just do anything to make me look busy.

Residential Care work. I work in a house that has 13 individuals with developmental disabilities. The company is called Keystone Community Resources.

I am pretty much their bitch, haha. In a typical day I just cook, clean, do laundry, and chill with the guys. I shower and shave them. Clean up poop, piss, throw up all the fun stuff. Take them to Dr's appointments and give them medications. Just help them with everyday life.

hmmm, I do environmental/civil engineering in Albuquerque NM. And if I would have known that engineering was 99% writing and 1% actual design engineering, I might have picked another field to work in. :)

Actually, I love my job for the most part. I spend the vast majority of my time writing engineering/construction specification and work plans. Another large portion of my time is devoted to researching relevant federal, state and local regulation that govern the work that I do.

I've done work that ranges from Superfund remediation design, to landfill construction and design, to water treatment systems. And this as been only in the last year!

My job is awesome!

I am the person every high school student fears. They run from me at the mall, avoid me in the grocery store, and wet themselves when I aproach them at school. Im a military recruiter.

That sad part is all the above is true... I actually had a kid wet himself once. I dont see how im that scary.. Im in the Navy, nothing scary about our uniforms.
Mostly I do a lot of paperwork and calling kids and talking to people. Im a trained counselor and target of angry parents. Oh well.

Tire rep. ride around all day and try to convince fleet owners that the times are good and letting tires get behind there retreading time will cost more once the recession is gone. in general i ride about 200 miles a day at speed limit as the boss is monitoring us on SAT and has nothing better to do than write warnings. boring!!!!

Currently on unemployment comp. I'm an electrician, IBEW 163 Wilkes Barre, PA. I was working a job last year that should have lasted into 2010, but last October, when Wall Street hiccuped, about half the workforce- all trades, about 100 or so- were let go, purely on perception. It is a food plant, and typically in tough times, the food industry does well, as other spending slows, folks still eat. Other than when the local power plant needs to beef up their workforce, it looks to be a slow couple of years.

Hey there! I'm out of local 1253 in Fairfield Maine. Are you construction or maintenance? We're construction and it is finally starting to show some signs of picking up after a long winter/spring; very slowly, but at least we're seeing something.

Best part of the job?

I never really got into the porn thing, Don't get me wrong it was pleasant to drop in and see some fine ladies every now and again.
But I stumbled across a young gent watching something about girls and a cup?
I don't really look inside any more, I just pull the cord. Scarred for life doesn't begin to describe it.
