Tom95YJ's Family Wheeler Build ...

Re: Tom95YJ's Faimly Wheeler Build ...

I did a few things to the Jeep today

I put my NAXJA Member Decal on it

Received my Spartan Locker and showed my wife how it goes together and works

Sanded an put on the a coats of black paint on The header panel that came in the mail today also

Sanded/ Applied the first coat of paint on the P/S fender that I have been meaning to paint since I bought the XJ in November.

I had also removed the Synthetic rope on my winch so I could run the the rope through the hawse like it should be.

Keep Watching This Thread, On Wednesday the JCR Gas tank Skid gets installed. Towards the End of the month I should have my new lift on along with my Rigid fab FbW2 winch bumper w/ Dirt Bound Off road Extreme Grill hoop and XRC8 Comp winch !

Re: Tom95YJ's Faimly Wheeler Build ...

besides the 3 inch lift blocks im spying, your rig is just about identical to mine

I have a new RE 3.5" lift, I hope to have it installed by the end of May.
I can not stand the blocks I hate blocks with a passion I wish the PO never had installed them !

I did test drive the Jeep I can't tell its there other than some clicking when turning into a parking spot, The XJ is much more friendly compaired to my TJ and YJ .

Re: Tom95YJ's Faimly Wheeler Build ...

I took a pic of the finish on the header/ passenger fender after they were painted, sanded, and compounded , I still need to hit them with my buffer I plan to get that done on Wed.

Looks like tons of fun!

Oh Yea, Loads of fun !

My best friend was in town from North Carolina for a Job interview so he stayed with me, An I took him wheeling so I had my Spotter Back ! It was a good 3 years since we have wheeled together .

Today I had picked up my Rigid Fabrication/ Dirtbound Offroad hybrid winch bumper. So far I am pleased an think it was well worth the wait and money !

When you go to the site, search "hoop kit" and it will pop up. I have one on the way for fathers day

This is great. I have had a Rigid winch bumper on the front for 7 years. Recently discovered dirtbound's hoop kit, and it has been ordered. It's nice to see exactly what my bumper will look like with the hoop on it. Can you post a pic once it's mounted, and maybe one from the driver's seat
