I am a newby on this site but I am a long time jeep guy.
I have owned a few diff models but never an xj.
I just got a 91 xj to play with.
What is the spring hight diff on a tj vs a xj?
I an asking cause I have an old tj lift laying around and I would love to use parts from it to save money and then just peice together the rest of the lift. It is a six inch lift. So what I really need to know is what kind of lift should I expect in the front using tj 6 inch coils?
I cant find any info anywhere....even on this site.
If I am thinking right though I should expect 4 to 4.5 inches?
I think tj coils are 1.5 to 2 inches shorter than cheroke coils when they are stock?
Is this right?
I really need help:confused1 I need to do lift in a weekend. Have to get parts ahead of time . If it wasnt for that I would just install coils in frot and measure.
And I know about driveshafts and all that........not a newb as far as tech....just with xj's.......
