In the medical field...
"disk" and "disc" are both correct.
IE: ruptured disc, degenerative disc disease, herniated disk, intervertebral disk disease, etc
usually surgeons prefer to use the "K" spelling...
disk brake or disc brake?
As long as "brake" is spelled right...
