Teraflex to heim? Let's talk steering.

My Teraflex steering has been great for over 3 years of abuse, but I finally bent the tie rod in to an S. Easiest fix would be to replace it with a like part from teraflex. http://www.teraflex.biz/hd-tie-rod-custom-width-large-taper.html

I am thinking of going with one of these from Ballistic: http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/Full-Steering-Kits_c_113.html The price seems right, and am thinking I can make it work with my high steer teraflex knuckle. Has anybody done this with that knuckle? Thoughts?

The fab work on the kit is no issue, as our fab shop will handle the welding, etc...

Open to other ideas as well, but they MUST be a sponsor for me to even consider it.

I should also mention, I am a noob to heims. This is not a KOH type Jeep. Rock crawling and semi-high speed arroyo runs are the norm. Should I use the High Misalignment kit?

If it matters, I am lifted over 6+inches and long arms.

important note on the knuckles... dont drill XJ stuff out to 3/4, use a 5/8" bolt. there simply isnt enough material to safely drill the knuckle out to accept a 3/4" bolt.

Use the high-mis. for the draglink, And the safety spacers for the tie rod.
I've only ever heard good things from Ruffstuff. Heard some good/bad about ballistic. I believe Ruffstuff discount/ship is better than ballistic. And x2 on the 5/8" on stock heep knuckles.

I don't see the need to run a 3/4" bolt anyway.

I bent my SOLID high steer arm before the 5/8" bolt budged.
