swaping a 8.25 27 spline even worth it?

Id have to say hold out for the 29 spliner as well. I got REALLY lucky because the old man who I bought my ThumperXJ from had already done the swap from the 27 spline. 29 is just more peace of mind, and less time and effort to upgrade.

that might be so, but 4.56s and 37s has to suck

hmmm never pondered that.. well I think hes crazy for paying $300 for EACH chromo axle anyway..
but yea the gearing is somethin I didnt look at..
hes run the Hammers , Rubicon and most of Moab so I guess hes happy

I guess it must have irked him when I told him I got my 44 for $150

i thought dutchmans were 300 for a pair or am i mistaken. that setup would work i guess as long as you also have a 4to1
