This was only the second time she has handled a firearm. The guy in the pictures is not me. It's my friend Mike who happened to be number 1 in the world a couple years back in his division of silhouettes... He can castrate a fly....
Anyway, after about 45 minutes of one on one instruction in firearm safety and use, we entered her in her first match. She shot a 30 out of 40 on the bench. Chickens at 50 yards. Not too shabby. I'm so proud of her. She's a natural.

Apparently the deer around here know when the range opens up. They wander in and out until about 9 am then disappear....
