Ruined my new CSF three core radiator...any idea why?

Just grab them with a pair of pliers and twist... they pop right off. :cheers:

Definitely doing this. I don't remember my old one having the ears, but it was a while ago too. Who knows.

Motor mounts and transmission mount were replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. There aren't any cracks in them and they look to be in good condition. There isn't any excessive movement when checking them with a long pry bar.

An easier method is to open the hood, start the engine, load the driveline and watch the engine. To load the driveline: With the engine running, hold the brake pedal down HARD, put the tranny in drive and give it some gas. Ease off the gas, put the tranny in reverse and load up again. If you get a helper for this, whoever watches the engine for movement should stand off to the side.
