Now just trying to figure out the firing order on the coil. Anyone know it?
That is exactly what the viper coil does as well.
I don't know what video you watched, but it is BS. The fuel pump connector isn't even close to matching the rail or viper coil socket.
I think it fires all six coils (wasted spark) so there is no firing order. Don't quote me just yet, I'm not getting any younger so memory sometimes fails me.
As for mystery TPS issues, I've fixed plenty of recurrent "CPS" issues in late models with a simple TPS replacement (symptoms were stuttering and stalling mimicking a failing fuel pump, failures to start mimicking a failing CPS). I now just swap for a known good TPS at the first sign of issues (I keep the sensors off all my parts vehicles/engines for just this reason).

There is one common wire and a separate trigger wire for each coil, they do not fire at the same time. They do fire twice on each cylinder though!
I don't recall if this got posted somewhere, but does anyone know:
1. How does the ECU signal each of the 6 coils, with only 4 wires?
It's not about flipping the connector, it's about extending it.
