All the bolts are out. little C shaped clip in the back part, out.

oil pan will not come off.

suggestions?

finally got the damnd thing off. crowbar and about an hour of work.

there were at least 4 layers of sealant. rtv, rubber, cork were three of the crap lining on it.

thanks though, wanted to make sure i wasnt missing anything

Wow. Hope you didn't end up denting/bending it after all that. Good luck getting the layers of crap off!

double checking

have a one piece rubber gasket. plan on using some rtv as well. memory says dont use rtv at the front and the rear, only on sides. is that right?

think it is, holds the piece tighter in place.

is there some trick to get the bolts back in? pan is off a bit and cannot get bolts in.

The trick 5-90 recommends is using a few studs to bolt it up loosely, then get all the bolts started and torque them down carefully. Also you probably should go in some sort of criscross pattern while torquing them down to avoid it warping, same as headers and lugnuts. Not sure of the pattern though.

next day, still at it. tried that, loosened up everything, still cant get it to line up. one fricken bolt!

think im going to widen the hole on the pan just a smidge. throw some rtv around the nut and call it a day.
