Rear sway bar removal test!!

Body roll angle has little to do with the actual roadholding ability. Frt. to rr. balance can affect over/understeer as can many other factors. Removing the rr. swaybar has the effect of lessening rr. roll stiffness which generally changes handling toward understeer. Basically, your set on your idea, so do it. Myself, both frt. and rr. swaybars came of my Jeep when it six months old and are lost in the garage somewhere.

While I wouldn't leave my front bar off, explorer's other points are valid.

If you did add bigger springs or an add-a-leaf to the rear for your lift, you have increased the rear roll rate. This would increase the tendancy for oversteer. Removing the rear bar would compensate for the added stiffness and get you back closer to the factory rate.
