Anyone have any better pics of the sides of the Desertfab rear bumper? I love the look of it from the rear, especially with the small tire carrier.

Who makes the rear corner guards???

I think the corner guards come with the bumper. I really like the look of the Rigidco rear, but don't particularly like the huge tire carrier. I think the Protofab bumper/carrier combo looks the best out of any of them by far.

The corner guards were actually made by RockLizard Fab. I got the last set he made for the XJ last year, from his site though, http://www.rocklizardfabrications.com/cherokee_gila_monster_armor.htm, looks like he's going to start making them again.

Oh, I was talking about the actual corners of the bumper, not the lower quarter panel. In the Rigidco pics, the corner guard under the taillight is bolted to the bumper. Can't tell if that is metal or plastic.

It's steel.

Ahh, metal and part of the bumper.

Thanks kemosabee, makes me like the Rigidco even more now.

xjwannabe, I love the look of the c-rok bumper but I hate their tire carrier with a passion. Just not practical on a daily driver. I'll probably end up with a Detours bumper because it has the wrap around sides and the tire carrier is very functional for an every day Jeep.

That works if you don't wheel it! Horrible departure angle.

didnt meant to quote that, i was refering to the rigidco bupmer with tire carrier and jerry can thing and stuff. The photofab one doesnt offer corner protection though...

That rigid is the one I want.
