had a great time did some awsome trails drove the jeep today everbody likes the trail modified bumper Andy hope you feel better soon

i thought everybody sould know what happend on the drive home when we where playing around on the comp course i went on the teeter toter and when i went to drive off it smaked my exhaust against my floor i had no clue un till i got on rt 78 and my carpet almost caught on fire well me Matt (egon) and Rob M pulled over figured out what happend and thanks to Rob having a big pipe in his truck we bent the exhaust down and continued on without a problem and got home in one piece

Did you bend the crossmember up? Did you feel any hard hits under the Jeep? Those factory crossmembers aren't much heavier than tinfoil, and will bend up easily. Catching the carpet on fire is actually a fairly common issue with XJ's after wheeling. The catalytic converter is so close to the floor already, that when it gets shoved up closer it will smolder the carpet. This is a common place for the floor to rot away too, which doesn't help.

Man I wish I went. it looks like you guys all had a great time. I think its kind funny that it looks muddier then when I went and when I went it was a monsoon. maybe the water washed all the mud away?
