If Dave Nay's R&P installers did not set-up the gears adequately, and dave ran this set for a certain number of miles, what are ary's chances do you suppose???

Personally, I'd never run used gears, unless i could be damn certain that they were run in another housing DEAD ON PERFECT.....but even then I'd think hard about doing so.

don't fergit......we're trying to figure out what caused his diff to lock up, and diagnose the "gear npoise while turning"....
I don't know the arb, so I won't even go there, but a strong possibility exsists that the carrier bearing preload is inadequate....my feeling is there is some kind of side-loading issue.
