When I added the overhead to my 98, I placed (taped with painters tape with the two screws driven in) it up on the headliner and traced around it after centering it with a pencil to mark the headliner. I then measured where the donnectors were on the overhead and cut as needed. Took all of maybe ten minutes. Just make sure you have the harness to go with it or the wiring most likely will not be there.
