I called my friendly local parts department yesterday... looking for a door check.
Folks here noted that they were a "$30 dealer item"... or that some folks had them on ebay.
Ebay had three options... evidently from the same seller: the "kit" for $18.50 (buy it now) was the best-looking option. With shipping (UPS ground) it would have come to $26.00 even.
There were other options (an auction that was currently $14.xx... and a deal for a PAIR of checks for $18, evidently without hardware).
My dealer wanted $22.70.
