Need New Springs: Stay 6.5" or go 8"

My springs are shot (rusted, spreading, sagging) all around, so I want to replace them. I'm currently debating whether or not to go with RE 5.5" RE1461 or maybe step up and get a set of Alcan 8" leaf springs.

I currently have 35"s & sagging Rusty's Kit 6.5". I will not be going to bigger tires even if I lift it higher, but I do use the jeep for promotional purposes so there is a benefit to simply being higher. I also go mudding so another 2" between my electronics and the mud will help...

Basically, how bad will the COG get just by raising it another 1.5"-2"?

I'm currently running the RE1461's with a TNT 1" shackle, and I could not suggest a better rear setup. The ride is great and they flex like a mofo.

I run a tomken 6" pack with a 1.75" shackle in rear and skyjacker 8" coil in front, works pretty good. also sort of promotional. 8"/35's

i run the newer RE 5.5" xtreme duty with a 1.25 " lift shackle. It sits close to 7".
