My epic roadtrip:

Can you give me an idea of how much the gas was per gallon and how much it was here before you left? I am hoping to go up later this year if I can get my offroad teardrop trailer finished.

Whatever has was at the end of last summer, 2.50 a gal? Canada has liters but it worked out to about 4-5 per gallon in Can.

I spent like $2000 on fuel for the trip alone, and probably $120 or so in beer. We ate out about 2 or 3 times to a total cost of $100. Otherwise we just made food in the van. The new wheel bearing incident set us back $150 or so including tools. The second mechanical breakdown set us back about $300 throwing parts at it in can. The 4 fuel filters were 20-30 each, the gas can were like $10 each.

It was a cheap trip with the exception of fuel really.
