BUT I GOT MY MJ!! Big thanks to Clark, Carmine, JoeCain, and StinkyFIngers!
The day started at 730, leaving Ft Myers area by 8 AM.
Drove to Brandon, met w/Clark, sold him the ole' XJ in all her glory..
One final look...
Then, we loaded up in CLark's sportrac exploder and headed to Ocala with car dolly in tow...
We get to the MJ... Check it out... battery dies, so we jump it, load it up on dolly, and drive to carmines...
Which looks like this
I WANT THAT TRUCK!!
And his sexy MJ!
We realize the car dollys tires are a BIT dry rotted, and possibly a bent rim, so we try to see if theres a chance she can make it on her own power...
Which then led to the neg battery terminal/wire being swapped out and an alternator... something like this...
Which, of course, while I worked... there was this...
(JK, these guys were a big help!!)
After that.... huge DW issue down I-75 almost causes wreck... low tire pressure... top all off.. and Clark/JOeCain followed me back to Brandon.. where I drove the last 2 hours SOLO!!!
AND SHE MADE IT!!! Around 9 pm ...
So thats her, in all her glory, 89 5 spd 4.0 2wd (for now) MJ!
