Is it normal to remove and not re-use the rear sway bar on a RE 4.5" super-flex lift??? Thats what the directions say, but sounds UN safe???

Absolutely! Most of us run with no rear sway-bar.

I have ran without one for 5 years with no negative impact!

whats a rear sway bar?

If you use your Jeep for towing that would be the only consideration for keeping in on, but guys like JohnX have towed lite utility trailers without any problems.

I used to have sway bars. Body rolls a little you get use to it.

whos is an up country?

i had a RSB...remember? you told me to use the sway bar ends as a bar pin eliminator for my rear shocks, which i did when i got the re monotubes.

If you throw it away let me have the axle mounts.
