intake rubber tube

So my intake tube has got to splits in it and I am wondering what I should use to fix it .I cant get to a j y for the next couple weeks.Didnt want to make a mess with rvt but think it would work looks arent a big deal

Silicon should be flexible enough for a temporary fix.

Duct tape. A couple of layers should see you through until you can find one at the junkyard.

So what do you think about this stuff I found in my shed NEOPRENE SUPRER FLASH CEMENT high performance rubberized elastomeric cement it never gets totaly hard

Absolutely!! I have a similar "tube" on my backpack leaf blower that split a year after I got it. It's had a couple wraps of duct tape on it for 3 years and it's a "high mileage" unit.

I had the intake rubber tube tear in half on my other car a long time ago. I had to get mobile so I wrapped it with several layers of duct tape. I forgot all about it and took it out a year later and it was perfectly fine no leaks at all.
