Thanks. I work retail and hear a lot of bitching and moaning about different things all day long. The economy, our new socialist president, war overseas, oil and so on and so forth. I have fox news running all day at the office so I get updated as much as they say what happens overseas and it just irks me when people bitch about the war or dont appreciate the work our service men and women are doing over there. I literally want to smack people right across the cheek when they make disrespectful remarks about the war or what were doing over there. All I hear is crap about them not liking why were there or not understanding it all and I never hear them saying how they appreciate the hard fight our men and women have to go through every day. Most of the people I hear bitching Im sure dont know anyone over there or have never served so theyre pretty blinded by the medias perception of the war going on. And even though some of our military probably dont agree with it, they do it and smile becuase they know its important and if they dont grin and bear it, who will.
I really just wanted to say thank you to all of the men and women who protect my freedom and have given me a place to call home, where i can feel safe and dont need a bomb shelter within my house somewhere.
atriot: You are all my heros and life wouldnt be as great as it is without your sacrafice. Its because of you I get to have good and bad days that include nothing more than bad weather or a non starting jeep to make my days bad. Ill take that over bombs being lobbed into my city anyday. I just dont understand where people feel they have tie right to criticize the military and dont just do their duty to support them no matter what they're doing or what the purpose is. Thanks again, you make each day special for me and I love you all and appreciate you for what you do.
