But I'm not worried enough about it to not run the set up. In this application if it's going to fail it would be on the trail rather than the highway.

yeah but they really really had to try and get that to happen.

i have been running the iro setup for a little while and have no issues. i dont run red's, or have 35's thou.

I ran a front shaft in the back for quite some time, I know several people doing the same. They are cheap enough to keep a few spares around and just junk when they get wore out or break. I've seen them run with 1 tons and +40" tires and deep gearing without fail. YMMV of course
 
google for 3103-27CV - Six States and drive-line.com both have it. I bought mine from drive-line.com.

EDIT: Either will charge you a lot less than IRO. Like, 40 dollars less - about 2/3rd the price.
