It is next to the tire bottom air backup tank on UpCountry models with manual transmissions and NP242s, but I don't believe any other package ever came with one installed.
Also, some VWs actually have blinker fluid. There's a defect in the coolant level sensor, it leaks fluid into the wiring harness and people have actually had it get as far as the rear turn signals and brake lights :roflmao:
Well, you know how the washer fluid reservoir is hidden in the driver's side fender on the '97-'01 models? Look under the passenger side fender. You have to remove the fender. It's usually a dealer service only item, but if you find a source for replacement fluid, you can refill the reservoir with those little syringes you use to refill ink cartridges for ink-jet printers.
If you get the fender off and there's nothing there, look under the headliner. It was a running change during late production.
If you have a '02- up model(only available in Europe) it's in a different location.
