Just a FYI, I had never been up to Goat Mt before, so going loosly off the hillockburn rd direction I had heard, a friend and I went up there during this week. I may not have been in the right area, but the Rangers up there, were all over, and said due to fire danger, no one was permitted off the gravel roads at all.

Figured I would give you a warning, not sure if were I was, was the area were you are planning on going or not though.
