On mine, with the inner fenders completely cut out, there's a reasonable amount of airflow. So far I haven't been able to get them hotter than I can comfortably grab.
I have a few other options but this was the easiest to get it rolling. After the first real race event this year (about a month from now) I'll be checking 'em to see if it becomes a problem or not.

Yeah, I relocated the driver's side res on mine and plan to go to one of those steel cowl induction hoods.

Here's mine it was made for shocks off the sway bar mnt originaly then I switched to coil overs and just added those mnt's to it.
