dana front axle

Just do your road work and also let your fingers do the walkin. I've been lookin for a high pinion 44 and they seemed to be dried up, but with a little lookin in the right places they're fallin out of the sky. Gots a 70's F250 Camper special with lockouts (Cheap!). This is gonna be COOL! Iffin you got a competent shop nearby that could do the fab work you can do some outer conversions with Chevy stuff and have a custom axle for a lot less than a Curry.

Like the others have said before - search on here and Pirate4x4(use Google to search pirate). A HP D44 build up from a Ford truck is not hard just takes some mechanical ability. Cut the inner C's off, cut tubes to length, weld inner C's back on at correct angle, put inner shafts and gears/carrier in, attach outer C's with your choice of outer stuff and steering.
