so whats the lowest lift you would recommend drop brackets with?

4-4.5" minimum. The DBs move the control arm mounting points down by approximately 4" so you don't want to be any shorter before installing them.

guess i am right there. i am at 4'' and the ride suffers and droop is limited. kinda worried about the loss of clearance, do they make a db taht is a little less of a drop? thanks btw

I don't think so, since the design of the RE DB uses the LCA mounting hole as a new mounting point for the upper. The lowers are moved down accordingly in order to keep similar geometry. They do cause a loss of some ground clearance, but it's minimal and proper spotting/driving skills help there.

didnt know thats how they were mounted, might need to get new springs first and a sye and a track bar and new shocks and then of course drop brackets...
