A cam cards only purpose is to inform the builder about the grind. After that a builder has the choice of advancing or retarding the timing to suits his/her specific needs, it's not a "set in stone" ordeal!

My point is, you and I both have "4.6" motors (long-block/no head) that have totally different characteristics. That changes where your power-band will be without anything else involved.
