not much to search on lowered XJ's, but Im still browsing.
Thinking of a cheap 2wd and slamming it. just for fun, and some cussing, maybe some broken tools.

Hell yeah! I'm going to do it one day soon! Nothing wrong with building a lowered 2wd XJ. Go for it and post pics!

You have no idea how much fun a lowered 2wd ax-15 is. If you have the means I'd recommend buying a ride in matt's or richard's lemons Cherokees.

Ive seen that blue one. I think I want to go lower. just a little. There is an obtrusive frame there, but i'd like to tuck a little rubber. if possible.

actually, your limiting factor ends up being the upper links and the oil pan. A little work can make it happen.

there was a thread on AdFab by a guy who came from the minitruck world and built a new frame in the rear, basically cut out the floor and tubbed it. he scrapped the project but would have been able to drag metal on the road. Lot of fab there if you wanna go nuts with it!
