:loveu::loveu: badass!!!

No but when I get some extra cash I will make some baja style tube fenders

Links in the back and leafs out front, I bet it will perform better if you drive backwards.

Nice job Branden, looks badass.

I honestly have to laugh at this, because you have gone against the grain on pretty much everything. You'll get hung up on the exo all the time, the front leafs are a horrible idea, linking the rear is not worth the effort, the full widths will be way to wide, and since you cut the roof off it's going to fold like a taco.

Yet, I guarantee it's going to be a beast on the trails. Job well done!

Look forward to doing some more wheeling with you and the new setup.

ya, coulda saved a ton of time n money by just driving in reverse to begin with :twak: duhhh

sure... but wuts the fun in that?! haha

that was one of my goals for this jeep. as soon as i started doing small things that people said were stupid i decided to prove them wrong. and so far its workin :moon: lol i cant wait to get it out and prove the naysayers wrong! i look forward to wheelin with you again dustin! i will have to head down to your neck of the woods again sometime when there isnt any snow so we can try all the trails down there

the rear 60 i didnt shorten at all. i shortened the front end because it was out of a 4x4 van which has a wider track than a truck does. from outside of tire to outside of tire i measure 79.5"

In what Ben your Subaru I would pay to see that. I have another set if I get them back from California

bringing back an old thread with an update.

ive ran the front leafs for over a year now and still dont regret doing so. over the last year and a half i have bent about 4 front leaf springs with this setup. most people on here can attest to how well the front leafs worked on my jeep. but the time has come to change my setup. i now have a bit more money to throw at this thing so i decided to go back to a linked front suspension. really my only reason for doing this is the approach angle and bending the springs.

so i started a few months ago and i am just about done now. i pulled the leafs out, added some front frame stiffeners, custom built my own 3 link and crossmember/tcase skid, and custom mounted 14" travel coilovers. while doing this i stretched the wheelbase another 3" to a final WB of 111". this is a bit more than ideal but im sure it will do fine.

here are a couple pictures from the build. the complete build can be found in the link in my signature.

only thing i have left is to add a cross bar that goes over the motor and connects both shock hoops together and then get my front driveline extended a couple inches.
