89 MJ Totalled, the Resurrection!

where in WV are you, i wouldnt mind being a courrier, im in northern WV and parsons from time to time. I can prolly get the door as far as waynesboro

Waynesboro is about 1.5 hrs to my north but not a bad drive. I can haul one door in my escort wagon and get 41mpg doing it!

If you aren't in a hurry, my neighbor works at Carter Cat in Salem. I could probably have him take it that far for you. I could take it off this weekend and send it with him next week.

Awesome! I work less than a half mile from Carter and in fact I use to work for them back in the 80's before I went to Nashville Auto-Diesel College. I will PM you my number.

PS and off topic - There any wheeling nearby? Might be doing a family trip out that way next summer (Wife's got another high school reunion). Not sure how long we'll be in Roanoke but may try to weasel a wheeling trip in if I can!

Yes, Potts Mountain Jeep Trail is less than 40 miles from Roanoke and it is VA premier public ORV trail.

At least 31's and a IDGAF attitude about body damage, at least one locker, or
33's make it easier and can be run with out lockers and maybe a short cable pull or snatch strap in 2 sections
or
35's and F/R lockers = just plain fun, and a walk in the park!

Is it done yet? :)

Nope! I have to get a bigger compressor if we are going to do the body work here at the house, my junk won't run a DA. My body/fender guy can't take it to work with him either, his boss won't let him do side work in the shop. looks like I will be buying or renting a compressor before we can continue.

60-80 gallon should do ya. may be overkill, but it's not going to cost you much more than a 40 gallon if you craigslist shop, and it's very nice not having to ever think about running out of air. get a vertical tank and it'll barely take up much more room.

I think i have everything except the pass side door and fender now. Thats a shame the frame is rusted on that truck. I hate to see one go like that.

That white truck I pulled the bed off of in the yard was aweful with rust. The frame from the LCA mount to the front Leaf hanger was almost completely gone.

We finally got the roof on today. Unfortunately the pass side A pillar was bent but my trail rig's winch fixed that. Here are some pics of the progress. This is Ron Garrison, my sheet metal/body fender man that is doing the work for us. This guy is good and fast! 7hrs start to finish on the roof!
