44 yoke = 30 yoke?

I am regearing my axle very soon. My buddy has a dana 44 ubolt style yoke and claims it will fit my dana 30.
Is this true?

Are the yokes interchangeable?

The D30 yoke and the D44 yoke are the same.

I believe D35 yokes are the same too.

negative. just found out 2 hours ago that the D35 yoke does not fit the Dana 30. It's too big for the seal

There is a Seal that is made for the D30/44 yoke on to the 35...
