I've got 4" of lift and 32s and I had to hack the heck out of the fenders to prevent major fender damage, but I did not want to extend the bump-stops and lose upward travel. I took off/folded better than an inch in the rear and almost three inches in the front.
Not trying to discourage you, just showing how drastic things can differ with diffferent setups. If I had the 32x9.5s my tires would probably stuff better and do less fender damage.
