ewander said:Hi, I need some help with back spacing. I did some searching but didn't get my question answered.
What backspacing should I use for some new 15X10 inch rims for us with my 35X1250 BFG MTKMs?
Will 3.75" keep the tires out of my control arms at full turn?

I agree.passxj said:x2 or is that 3?
run 3.75 or 4" if you want to pull u-turns anytime soon.
GottaBeJeep said:I have 35" MT/R's on 15x10's with 3.5" BS, and barely rub on the control arms, but those tires are pretty worn down, so in short, that set up still rubs the arms. I agree with the others on getting 15x8's (my 15x10's are temporary and they were dang near free), but get the least amount of backspacing you can, then get some spacers to finish pushing them out to about 1.75-2" backspacing. Gets rid of most LCA rubbing and adds awesome stability.

ewander said:I have about 7.5" of lift with the RE Long Arm kit, so I sit a little tall. I also have bushwacker flares. I have run 8" rims for a long time, but think the 10 inchers would make me a little more wider, hense more stable in off camber situations. The lowest I take my air pressure is down to 10 lbs, so hope I would be able to keep a bead.
ewander said:Besides, technically aren't wheel spacers the exact same thing as additional back spacing?
ZachMan said:Sounds like you need less lift. 35s on the RE 4.5" is perfect.

EricsXJ said:I'm running 3" BS on mine and I love it. Turns great (not as good as stock, but hey...) and the wider track sure is nice for stability like GottaBeJeep pointed out.
I'd say 3.75" would be the minimum.
