Whats the bottom dollar? I dont know if you remember me but I can up there with my friend Ryan whos totalled 97 XJ you picked up a few years ago.. The motor blew in my WJ and im looking for a XJ. I also know Justin and used to wheel with this jeep back in like 2002 or 2003.

i did it for 4.56s on my 8.25 Worked fine for several thousand miles and tons of trips. I actually had to shave a tad off of two teeth, it all depends on how you bolt up the ring gear to the carrier.

you have them backwards. I bought a cylinder and keys from autozone last saturday $11.99 brand new. Dont even both with used ones. The electronic switch is more expensive and is behind the lock cylinder.

they are like 12 bucks new at autozone. I just put on in my comanche.. super easy..

Yup. I fixed my sisters XJ with cotter pins about 6 months ago. still goin strong.

I installed a mechanical tranny temp gauge in my 97 XJ using the factory hole right near the dipstick and and NSS nearest the outlet line. Just drivng around town today the temps got to 210 on average and 230 when climbing a hill. This is a stock XJ, no lift, no tires, not towing anything. Is...

BTT. Still there. Put 2 new bosch O2 sensors on it, IAC, TPS. Still does it.

I just put a 97 XJ console and 2-door buckets in my MJ. Worked like a charm and fit perfect. Even some of the screw holes for the old console fit. It was sweet. Now I have cup holders, storage, and an armrest.

It was the IAC. Does anybody know the reset sequence for a new IAC?

Ya I know, weird. I bought my sister a 97 XJ a few months ago and it just started doing this. It runs fine, but when you shift it into reverse it seems like the engine bogs down. and then dies. Also when in park or drive when you turn off the AC it idles super low for a second, like 100-200...

I have a 99XJ and a 97XJ. I got the correct year trannies for both. But i had shift solenoid problems on my 97 so i read a ton about wiring and TCUs. On the bright side I have spare 97 and 99 TCUs now.
