I have started down that slippery slope of trailering to events. It's not a 1-ton diesel mega-super-ultra cab dually like some of yours, but it will haul cars the 2-3 times a year I would like to. As a bonus, it even has a selectable rear locker. Now if only I had a trailer.....

Last night I scored a d44 with all the parts to do a disc brake swap, an ausie locker and brand new 4.56 gear. I also scored a d30 true trac with matching new gears. Grand total for all this: nada.

Here's a picture of my drivers side TRE at the knuckle. Notice how I had to use washers to put the castle nut high enough up on the stud to be able to secure it with the cotter pin. When I took the old TRE off it was not like this and the old TRE mounts up the same as this one now. I'm thinking...

As title states, looking to buy a tub for a CJ. It needs to be from an intermediate CJ5, which is 71-75. If the tub isn't in perfect condition but is restorable I will consider it, but I would prefer a fairly straight and rustfree one. If needed I will buy a whole CJ and remove the tub myself...
