i will be buying me a winch in a few weeks, plan on saving me some money and gong with a smittybilt 8,000lb winch. I'll be getting a snatch block to go with it. but i'm not to concerned about it. Now ten years ago I was a warn on nothing kinda guy. I guess my thing is with the advance of...
just an update. I replaced the cps today and now the jeeps cranks but and starts to run but shortly after dies. Seems like it is not getting enough fuel now. If I short out the fuel pump and let it run for about 10 seconds the jeep fires right up but then it seems to die due to not getting...
sorry for the confusion. The motor spins over freely. I sprayed some ether into intake and it fired for a second, but it will not start and run. I've been doing some reading and it sounds like I may have a bad cps. but i would still like ideas.
like I said it turns overjust won't fire and...
alright so for the last couple of days I've been having major issues with my jeep. Drove it to a buddy's house in biloxi, ms from my home in memphis, tn. Drove fine on the way down no issues of any kind. Next day We decided to go ride around and it wouldn't crank. I couldn't hear the fuel pump...
dosen't look to bad to me, A little tall for my taste, but hey if it worked out for the owner then more power to him. The turbo setup is cool to say they least
i wouldn't trust glue on the unibody. Granted they can do some amazing stuff with the right kinda glue and enough pressure. But I just think with the amount of flex we ask for out of our trucks it would be a bad idea. Also those frames that are put together with glue are done so under tons of...
so i picked up some 19lb 4 hole orange top ford fuel injectors for free and was wondering how to clean them and check them before putting them to work in my jeep. Any ideas? I cleaned them with some throttle body cleaner a little today, and they don't look awful I was just hoping for a way to...
can't really fight it. If the cops show up with a "parts car" sitting in the drive its gonna look like you are working on it there. Best to do is either rent a storage place or find somewhere else to keep it. Dealt with this at my last apartment
don't forget the dodge powerwagon. Cool over priced truck with oversized tires a locker and a winch. pretty cool, but its like a 50k ride. I do however wish they would still put a solid front axle in all 4wd's. but the ifs rides better so that's why they use those instead
thanks guys, and i'd love to make it to some meet and greets and trail rides. Gottta get the oil leak fixed first and i'd like to get the new axle shafts in so i don't have to worry about the vaccum assit crap. Love the jeep, its fun to drive around and I have big plans for it. sliders winch...
