Good to excellent quality OEM body parts supplier?

In a quandary. Wifey had a fender bender, and the cash to repair is just not there. I need the Jeep back on the road ASAP, so the body guy is patching her up with the bare minimum. I'll need new front bumper end caps, new grill, and a new passenger fender to make my 2001 Limited pretty again...

    Checking out a 1986 MJ - 4Cyl, 5spd Long bed - what should I be worried about?

Looks a bit rough, but that's ok. Primer paintjob, aftermarket wheels, looks like 30'son them. might have a budget boost, less than 100k miles. 4 cyl, 5 spd. What should I be checking for most on a vehicle of this vintage that I might consider purchasing? Are there danger areas from a frame...

    Laser Vision Correction

The monovision is awesome, and you do get used to it pretty quickly. Reading was a bit uncomfortable for a few months, but now it is a pleasure again. One of the strange things to get used to is periferal vision. My left eye is perfect for reading, my right eye is perfect for distance, but when...

NJ Inspection - now engine light is on

Wife had the 01 inspected Friday, now the check engine light is on. I searched for several items, but can't come up with how to get the codes without a scanner. Can I use a paper clip like I used to on the Chevy OBD? Turn the key 3 or 5 times? Vehicle is running fine, but I would appreciate...

    The goods

At first read, dzlocali might be confused for http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/loopy.htm but Beej has declared he is a modified version of http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/bong.htm Either way, he has created the single most entertaining thread in history.

    Forgotten History Thread

From tragedy somtimes comes triumph. A loss of 28 lives due to government decision making. The fishing around this location is great. Pick your days carefully, the weather and sea conditions can get nasty very quickly. http://www.njscuba.net/sites/site_texas_tower.html

New Jersey folks, might be possible I am moving there

The size limit has been 16.5 since 2004. Last year, the big fluke on my boat was about 9 pounds. The biggest fluke I saw from a tournament in 2005 was about 11 pounds. I do hear about alot of big fluke, but that is strictly opinion. Fish get bigger the longer they are dead anyway! A nice fish...

The salt is jammin right now - striper schools are huge, and everywhere from Keyport flats and the reach, out to the rips, down the beach to Maryland it seems. Fluke are still sketchy, but improving.

New Jersey folks, might be possible I am moving there

Definitely. I have been fishing those waters all my life, from as far up the Raritan as you can go to offshore canyons and wrecks. Best striper fishing on the east coast. Take a venture a few miles off the beach and catch Mahi. Go offshore and catch anything you want. Many of the towns along...

New Jersey folks, might be possible I am moving there

Most people move OUT of NJ, not in! 1) Ridiculously high auto insurance - it might even be the highest in the nation. 2) Ridiculously high property taxes. 3) Ridiculously expensive housing - especially in the towns you mentioned. They are pretty hot now and have been for many years. Hoboken...

Are all you East Coasters this strange?

A minivan full of tumbleweeds? No problem. A minivan full of free-ranging sheep? Probably headed for Rhode Island.

    Illigal immigration.

I say bring in MORE illegals! The more there are, the more I can exploit them! Why pay $10.00 an hour for a crew when I can pay $5.00? The last guy left at the muster zone in the morning may get only $2.00! WOOHOO!!! More money in my pocket. Insurance? What are you kidding me? Drag them out of...
