Well I must say I'm surprised that the P/S pump went out like that - if it had gone out on my way to the LA Convention center I guess I'd have gotten my money's worth out of my AAA membership. All the P/S pulleys on XJ's that I've seen (I guess 3 total) have that little groove, I just assumed...

I'd like to build a nice sleeper sports sedan, I'm considering an old v6 Taurus SHO or a newer Contour but I haven't quite decided yet.

The XJ is SOLD! Thanks Paul, I hope you have at least as much fun and utility out of the Jeep as I did. Big kudos to Paul for his patience while I bumbled around trying to remember where I left the pink slip.

It's got a "new" uncrushed stock rear bumper and endcaps courtesy of IslanderOffroad, got it installed and painted last weekend. :thumbup:

Yup, that was one of the first things sold. As of now, all I have left are the wheels and the CAs. I've been asked a few times for pictures of the CAs, and I'm trying to remember to bring my camera out to my folk's house and take pictures.

Another bear-related error I've seen way too often is the failure to differentiate between "grisly" and "grizzly." I would expect a grizzly murder to refer to something quite different than a grisly murder, ie a bear being killed vs. a human being killed in a gruesome way.
