    97-01 5spd XJ shifter boot

Does anyone have a source for the shifter boot for the manual 5spd 97-01 XJ? I am putting a console in from a 98 XJ into my 89 MJ, but I don't have the shifter boot. Thanks!! Andy

89 MJ Turn signal/wiper control lever problems...

My son yanked out the turn signal lever on our 89 Comanche, when the wipers were turned on, key in "Run" position. We were working on the wiper controls on the lever, and it would only run in the "High" setting. I switched levers to see if it made a difference, but it did not. AT that point...

    My daughters 89 MJ...

Pretty much ever since my daughter Amy was old enough to recognize, enjoy, and be along for road trips in cars, she always liked riding in the 87 MJ I built a few years ago, and sold around 2012-2013 (I think). It was a great, very capable driver and offroad truck that I had bought originally...

FS- 93 Jeep Cherokee 2dr 3" of lift...

Hi Gents, I have a friend selling this Jeep. Its a 4.0L, auto, 2dr red exterior paint. Looks good from outside, very little rust on the body, but it does need work on the floors. Will not pass inspection without floor work. It does have many new parts though, and it runs well with no issues...

FS- NP231 w/4:1 and Cable shifter available at NAC-Fest...

Xfer case has 78,000 miles on it, same as the Jeep. Its a 23 spline version. The 4:1 was put in around 40,000 miles, when I built the Jeep, and it has been in there ever since. It works great. Has never let me down. The chain is not rubbing or anything. Since its easy to do with it out, I...

Things I learned this year at Nac-fest...

    1. Rich and Carol just simply rock. (I already knew that, but it still tops the list) 2. Spotting someone who can't hear REALLY fine-tunes your hand signals... 3. Some things never change... namely things like Stefan... please don't ever change. 4. Jordan put some time into creating an...

    The Carnage Thread...

Yep, it starts already. Wiped out a lower ball joint and wheel bearings on my front axle, drivers side. Its most of the way fixed. Gotta source one more wheel bearing and put it back together. It wasn't a hard day yesterday, but it looks like the seal was leaking, allowing mud and gunk to get...

FS- Actron Code Scanner CP9580A Brand new...

I have a brand new auto code scanner that has never even been plugged into a car yet. It is a top of the line Actron unit that will diagnose Check Engine lights and also clear them. It also does live monitoring as well, which is great if you have an intermittent problem, stumble or strange idle...

What I learned this year at Nac-fest....

    1. Rich and Carol are excellent cooks! 2. Despite Rich's best efforts, it is very hard to keep 25-30 people dry under a 12x12 Easy Up, and a 10x 20 tarp In a gully-washing downpour. 3. Bilstain 7100's WILL NOT hold up to repeated use as droop bumpstops and slight mis-alignment at that full...

    New family wheeler- aka "Darkside"...

Yep, its official... After I sold the WJ, I spent a while looking for the next perfect family wheeler, and the next serious build rig. I also decided that I wanted something with a full frame. I looked long and hard at the JKU's, but they are just too expensive for a 3rd vehicle. So I...

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/usa-northeast/1130577-aoaa-its-official.html Its time for the NAC to throw in their help with this place. If someone from the BOD wants to set up a run/trail cutting, I think it would be a big hit. A.

    Rustys T-case skid Lined w/Plastic....

I have a Rustys t-case skid that is fairly new that I lined the bottom of with 1/2" UHMW plastic. The t-case skid is slightly tweaked and the plastic is scarred a bit, but it still works great, and with the 1/2" plastic, it slides off of things nicely and adds some rigidity to the skid as well...

This is not my jeep!!! It is a friends, and he has asked me to check with the folks here to see if anyone is interested. The basis is a 95 XJ, aw-4, with a D300 twin sticked Roof has been cut off (still has windshield/frame), and it is professionally fully caged, welded in rockers, custom...

    Question about Prothane install...

I know a few of you guys are running them inside your front coils, how did you locate them so they stay centered in the coils? I am thinking of welding a small piece of tube approx. 2" high to the center of the coil spring pad, then slipping the prothane over that. Then doing the same for the...
