Re: OX shifter location Thanks for the information. I heard that the shifter may overheated when it is located between the 4x4 shifter to the parking break. what is your experience with this one? What about setting it near the driver's door? is it posible?

Finally I've decided to buy the OX locker to my Dana 35 rear axle. The recommended cable size for XJ is 84". I would like to get your opinion about the subject and appreciate if you'll add a picture of where you've installed it. 10x, Arik.

That is what I've found in the I'Net when I queried about JCR. After I've submitted it I realized that it's bloody to old (-: But, still I need your opinion about it.

I'm aware of it but it will be very complicated to find one (unfortunately, the XJ is very rare here) and I don't want the mess of bringing it from the US. BTW, I'll have no plan use tires greater than 31". so as far as I know it will suite. correct me if I wrong.

Yep, I forgot to mention that it's the 4.0L with an automatic transmission.

TEETHES may be replaced with splines or whatsoever...I assume that one that already bought one and installed the ARB locker will understand it :sad1:

To make a long story short...I'm currently in Australia and thinking of buying an ARB differential locker. As far as I know my rear axle (Dana 35, model: XJ, year: 2001) comes with 27 teethes and a gear ratio of 3.54. Can anyone of you guys approve it? Thanks, Arik.

Didn't want to trim it before I see that this is the problem. in a couple of days I'll be much wiser.
