the only thing that my walmarts sell around here is the r12 to 134 conversion kits. I haven't been able to find freeze 12 anywhere. I have a 91 and it's finally gotten to the point where I've got to do something. If the jeep has been sitting out in the sun for any amount of time you can forget...

Anyone know of "brick and mortar" stores that sell freeze 12 conversions kits?? I've seen then on ebay but figured someone locally might have them. I'm from Lubbock, Tx incase someone else here has any specific local info

I pulled the 8x10 i think from uhaul not th ebiggest one but the next smalles dual axle and had no probs. The trailer was stuffed full and so was the interior of the jeep. Everything went very smoothly, I just made sure that there was plenty of stopping dist on the hwy. 6cylinder, manual...

and it still runs????

the one that I used was very thin, looked exactly like one of those skinny wood drillbits a steady hand is really all you need

You can buy tap sets at sears they come in different sizes, basically jsut a backwards drillbit. the inside of the bolt should be soft. Last time I did it I punched a divit in the top of the broke off bolt with a small punch and then put the tap in the divit and hit it lightly a couple times...

Isn't that more like a manifold istead of a header I thought in headers each pipe was suposed to be of equal length to allow each exhaust stroke to "get in line" with each other at the junction providing more even and timely flow. Someone clarrify me.
