Hi Folks I am helping a friend in a future transfer...he's got an '89 XJ 4.0/AW4/NP242 combo...how easy would it be to transfer all this to another XJ that has a V6/manual/NP207 or something like that? Thanks in advance!

    Wiring harness compatibility

Thanks again Eagle So, my 89 fuel pump will run just fine without the resistor? TSB #? And to continue abusing your knowledge, where do I get access to the TSBs that I may need to do this swap? I mean, the removal of the C101 connector, is this an actual TSB? Would it be easier to get another...

Thanks Eagle Can the resistor for the fuel pump be added? Where? Thanks again

    Wiring harness compatibility

Hi Folks I have a question about wiring...are the wiring harnesses in a 1987 and a 1989 XJ interchangeable? I ask this as I may get a chance to move most of the parts from an '89 into an '87. The harness in the 87 looks a bit different; there's a funky connector above the brake booster, which...

Killer Kane is amazing, and scary. I may go there with you guys next time...shucks, here I go again... :scared: While we were there we explored an old uranium mine (you may have seen the pictures of our Geiger counter pegged while in the tunnels!). Swapping Trannies

A guy I know swapped his auto for a manual AX-15, and now his engine runs terribly. Apparently there's a problem with the CPS pickup, the CPS, or? Anybody ever done this swap? What is he missing? Does he need to swap and/or modify something else. Any help will be greatly appreciated...
