I could go on and on... We do this in th locale club, could even make it a 'challenge theme' ex. Shot of your jeep with a police car, lights on a bonus (of course you should NOT be distracted going down the road, but you get the idea...)

i know some of our long standing paying members are out there wheeling things other than XJ/MJ's and i would like them to play along if they wanted to. my vote would be for RIG's but thats just my 3 cents

I would say only something other than an XJ/MJ if that is the theme of the month and keep that to say twice a year? I like the tow rig theme with the XJ/MJ on the trailer behind it...these pics are getting harder for me tho with the enclosed trailer

Here's the bod approved rules, with some slight changes...



A thread will be started the third week of every month to determine the contest for the following month.

Submissions will run 5 days or until 3 entry's are made.

After the 5day/3 sub. a poll will be started and will stay open for 1 week. the winner will be the one with the most votes.

Submitters and voters must be with in the MWC states.MAP

Submissions and voting will be open for MWC Members only.

Submissions must have 2 photos and a description of the Rig.

All submissions must follow the "Theme" for the month.

All themes will be xj/mj in nature.

All photos must be a viewable size, no thumbnails.

Pictures should be within a year old.

winning Rig's can not enter twice in one calendar year.

All winners from each calendar year will compete for ROTY the first week of January. The winner of ROTY will receive one free admission to winterfest following the contest. Free wf certificates will be dated and not valid for any other dates.

The first ROTY will be held January, 2014, including the past 14 winners.

In the event that someone causes "drama" he/she will be forced to shower with REV at WF.

Remember this is not a formal ROTM so lets have fun. if you cant stand the burn of a little Bacon grease, you shouldn't hang in the kitchen.

Just an idea, only one of the pictures needs to follow the theme. Kinda hard to do 2 pictures with the same theme without being redundant.

Example: This would also allow for a XJ on a trailer theme to be accompanied by a wheeling pic.

i like the updated rules, along with what vy98xj just said. makes sense that only one pic would half to be themed but i think both pics should still be within a year old.

but i don't think this is something that has to be added to the rules just something we all should remember.

keep in mind the rewster is going to come up with the themes, and it doesn't always have to be like "dress your Jeep up as a pumpkin" theme, it may just be white jeeps for winter.

he is being allowed artistic creativity when picking the themes

Delete - Just silly. I have heard Rev doesn't even take showers In the event that someone causes "drama" he/she will be forced to shower with REV at WF.

Delete - irrelevant - If backed by the BOD, with a formal prize backed by the BOD, the contest is Formal. Remember this is not a formal ROTM so lets have fun. if you cant stand the burn of a little Bacon grease, you shouldn't hang in the kitchen.
