RoM 2010

OK, I coppied this off of the TMTC forum:

Notice to all Barnwell visitors:
The regional Game Wardens representing TP & W are coming to BMRA on a fairly regular basis. They are now writing actual citations for folks that do not have a sticker. We do not know what the fine is - but you can bet it's more than $8.00 (what a sticker costs)! We advise that all visitors display a current sticker - like it or not that is the reality we are dealing with.
Sincerely,
Tom Mitchell
BMRA Operations Board

Just went back through all the posts so I'm chiming in on things I missed.

Bringing my wife daughter she'll be 3 in May and my two dogs are coming along as well.

Also, the wife is Pregnant (VERY Pregnant) 8 months along at the Rom, so she'll need bathrooms or Port-o-johns a lot. How is the place set up in that regard? We've been discussing this problem and info would help greatly!
We are going to NEED to be close as possible to the potty especially at night.

Where the RV sites are, and where it seems like most of the primitive camping will take place is only about a 1 minute car ride from the front office (running water bathrooms), and there will be port-o-johns even closer than that most likely.

Going to have to show up as early as possible friday to get a spot near a john. Are there any johns out on trails? (unlikely, but I'm asking anyway)
oh and are dogs allowed? I haven't seen anywhere that says they aren't.

There are port-a-johns placed sporadically around the park, but only on the front side of the park, once you get out so far into the park the port-o-john truck can't get in there to place/service them anymore. Dogs are allowed, and welcome at the park as long as they are friendly.

Well ROM weekend falls in between pay periods for me, so its looking like I will be sleeping in my jeep. Hope its not too cold.

I may take u up on the offer if I can find one of my own. I think my dad may have one.

I need to know what all to bring since I am one of the volunteers.

Done we all? But we have Obam...I mean, Kurt in office and he hasn't broken in the chair yet lol. :D

Come on Kurt, guide us, lead us, tell us what to bring.

I can always bring the beer pong table!

No beer pong! Uhg I hate that stupid game. Last time there was beer pong; all the (bad words) destroyed my house!

Well right now as it stands, you do not need to bring anything extra. Just make sure you have everything for camping or what ever your plans are.

I will keep all fo you up dated if you do need to bring anything.

Then what are we supposed to eat? I am so lost. You have me run concessions and later i'm told we're not having concessions and it's every man fend for himself and his own beer. Fail. I fail. I'm going to cry. You got my hopes up and now you shattered them!

A night before the event lol

there is a major difference in playing indoors and out you know

beirut masters don't have a problem outdoors, the zen is strong

I have a drinking game ... it's called get drunk. All you need is alcohol. It's awesome.

If I may make a suggestion....

If it truly has moved to "every man for him/herself" perhaps we can follow the tradition of the past 2 years and a menu together and ask people to bring stuff. That way we know who is bringing what and what else is needed.

IF I get to go...and that's a HUGE IF atm, I won't be camping in the RV area. Sorry, but the idea of camping on a flat, open area doesn't do anything for me....so I really don't have much say in how you guys decide to do things with the food. ;)
