lower control arm length

I was wondering if 4.5" control arms will be to long on my 3" lift, planning on going bigger soon but need to put the new control arms on now and they're for the larger lift. Will they fit okay, and how will the ride be? Thanks, Buz

The ride should be fine. The only possible issue is that it causes your front springs to smack your swaybar if the swaybar is in the stock location (IE: no swaybar relocation brackets)

The only difference between 3" lift and 4.5" for LCA length is half an inch

and that can/will make a big difference on your caster, and potentially cause for some driveability quirks.

when i installed my 3" lift with stock arms, i had some slight vibs and other issues. so i installed lower arms for a 3" lift which were only like 1/4" longer, and it fixed it.
